DESCRIPTION:We are so happy to invite the community to experience "Beauty of Humans"\, a new exhibition featuring artwork by students from Alberni District Secondary School.Running from May 11 to July 3 at the Alberni Valley Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Information Centre (2533 Port Alberni Highway)\, this exhibition explores identity\, emotion\, and the human experience through the perspectives of emerging young artists\, working across painting\, drawing\, and mixed media.The Opening Reception is on Wednesday\, May 14\, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.\, an opportunity to meet the artists and take part in a special interactive element. Guests will be invited to vote for three featured awards:🏆Most Compelling🏆Most Creative🏆People's ChoiceEach award-winning artist will receive a $150 prize. The Arts Council extends sincere thanks to the Port Alberni Toy Run Society for sponsoring the awards\, and to the Alberni Valley Chamber of Commerce for providing the gallery space
